Hey Love Bugs!
Happy Vday!  I hope you all got the LOVE you deserve today.  I wanted to share with you my fave Valentines Day related pins from Pinterest.  I have mentioned pinterest before...  I love it!  And hopefully by now, unless you live under a rock, you are all signed up and just as obsessed as I am.  :)  Anyway, here are my Top Ten pins with their sources listed below the images.  xoxoxoxo

1 - For all the Lovers out there that also happen to be pyromaniacs!  Aren't these matches great!!!?  Too bad the image is not real.  Bummer bc I totally wanted to buy these.  The image was created by someone who entered it into a Photo Effect Contest.  It won 5th place tho.  Check it out here

2 - DIY heart Tights on Fashion blog called The Pineneedle Collective.

3 - "I'm In Love" tee by Wild Fox.

4 - Decorating your front door is a must, right?  Check out this Etsy shop called Itz Fitz.  This lovely shop is full of handmade wreaths that are all too cute and perfect to dress up your naked door.

5 - Modcloth, you have the best nail stickers!

6 - Conversation Heart Nails?  How adorable.  Unfortunately, I couldnt find the source, but on the image it says, "Polish Hoarders."  If you know where this is, please let me know so I can add the source. :)

7 - There were sooooo many pins of Vday cookies, but I just thought these were beautiful.  There is just something about the color or pattern... They just look yummy!  They come from the lovely Oh Yay Design blog on Tumblr.  Great blog.

8 - A gradient pink cake with GOLD xoxo typography topping it?  I really dont think there is any better Vday cake than this!  And actually this image comes from the wedding blog called Ruffled.  Someone had a pink and gold Valentines Day wedding!  The whole post is beautiful!

9 - Bark + Conversation Hearts = A Perfect Vday Treat!  Image and recipe are from FashionablyBombed.

10 - Speaking of Bombs...  Balloon bombing is a fabulous idea.  Red balloons taking over honey's shower or car on Vday morning is quite the cute and romantic idea if you ask me.  This image is from YouAreMyFave.  So many bloggers posted things with this idea.  It's just too clever.  Ps YouAreMyFave is one of my FAVE blogs.

Costa Rica Photo Diary 2

Hiiiiii again!

Here to post my second batch of Costa Rica photos.  These are from outside the resort...  We drove around the countryside and walked around the town of Liberia.  It was such a different lifestyle than we have in the US. Liberia, Costa Rica was simply a surf town and just a very laid back environment.  Families sat out on the porch and rode their bikes around town.  There is something so nice about a simple life relaxing and just hanging out.  Sometimes I feel like Americans work too much.  We work all day then we come home and get on our computers and work more.  I am guilty of it.  Its what I choose, though.  I like being busy, I guess.  I love my iPhone, blogging, and keeping up with all the social media stuff.  hehe  And unfortunately, I'd rather spend time in front of my tv than sitting on the porch watching traffic go by.  BUT, none the less it is nice to remember to stop sometimes and just enjoy simplicity.  Which is what the locals did.  Two totally different worlds.  Enjoy my pictures!  There are not many bc I was trying to chill with the locals and blend in.  haha ;)

Costa Rica Photo Diary 1

Hiiiiii,

My husband and I took a very quick weekend trip to Costa Rica to celebrate my husband's 34th Birthday.  We stayed at the JW Marriott Resort and Spa in Guanacaste, Costa Rica.  Beautiful resort, by the way.  We  had a wonderful quick getaway!  Here are some shots I took while exploring the exquisite beach at our hotel.  Its amazing to me to see how many different looking beaches there are in this world.  God really is an artist!  I love to walk down a beach with the sand below my feet and observe the life around me.  Sounds cheesy and trite, I know... "I love romantic walks on the beach," but it's one of my favorite things in the world to do.  And NEVER EVER walk a beach without a camera in hand, I tell ya!  ;)  Enjoy!

GEAUX Tigers!!!

Yes, the season is over, but I wanted to share some of my LSU school spirit!  I have been meaning to post these pics for a while now.  The Tigers had a great season and all LSU fans around the globe are already counting down the days until next year begins!  What can we say, we bleed PURPLE and GOLD.  :)  GEAUX Tigers!

Northpark Mall During Christmas

Hi!!!
I am sick at home with what I think is the dreaded flu (dr appt at 130), so I decided its a good time to get a blog post in.  Altho, I am not going to lie, I would soooooo rather be at work feeling good than stuck at home feeling crappy!  uh!  Get your flu shots people!  :)  Anywhoooo... While doing some of my Christmas shopping at my favorite Mall ever, NORTHPARK Mall in Dallas, TX (pretty sure I've mentioned this Mall before), I took some iPhone pictures of the plants in the huge pots that Northpark always has displayed.  They put the coolest plants in these pots.  Its one of the many things I love about this Mall.  Since I am sort of behind the times with my 3G iPhone, the pictures aren't the best, but they work for now.  My husband gave me a gift card to Apple for Christmas this year to go get the fancy new iPhone 4Gs!  I cant wait to finally have a flash on my camera among other things.  I will probably be getting that this weekend, if I'm feeling better.  Anyway, Enjoy my Northpark pics!  And I hope everyone had a fabulous Christmas!

Red, Green, Chevron, and POM POMS!

Santa's coming down the chimney tonight!  So, as soon as I finish this post I am heading to bed!  :)

But first, I wanted to share my red and green chevron printed presents.  I probably took on more than I should have this year, but it all got done and I can't wait to bring my lovely hand painted gifts to our family Christmas tomorrow.  Pinterest has really been a great tool for inspiration.  I really enjoyed painting these gifts and making the pom poms to go on top.  I already have ideas for what I am going to do next year.  Fun Fun!  Merry Christmas everyone.  I hope you left santa some cookies!
